LOCAL – Weather: mainly overcast through the early hours and early morning with some light rain; then cloudy but bright until mid-afternoon then mainly clear skies thereafter. Visibility: mainly good and very good occasionally moderate through the early hours; then very good/excellent threafter. Temperatures: +23.9° to +12.4°C. Wind: very light/light throughout, variable from within the SW quarter until mid-morning; then light/very light variable in direction but wholly from NW/WNW thereafter. Surface pressure at 0000UTC: starting the day on 1016hPa falling to 1012hPa by mid-morning, before rising again to end the day on 1016hPa. Fronts etc. a series of closely associated mixed NE/SW fronts moved SE over the District during the morning/afternoon.
