LOCALWeather: mainly overcast with rain heavy at times through much of the day. Visibility: variable throughout the day from poor to excellent with prolonged moderate periods. Temperatures: +1.2° to +10.8°C. Wind: very light through light to moderate with gusts to 33mph during the late afternoon, NNE/NE/ENE in direction until 4pm; then SSE/SE/S thereafter. Fronts etc.: a number of fronts and troughs associated with a slow moving depression passed over the District during the morning and afternoon; a NE/SW warm front moved N over the District during the late afternoon.
