LOCALWeather: cloudy but with hazy sunshine through much of the day once an early/mid morning period of overcast skies; there was more overcast skies during the late evening, dry throughout. Visibility: mainly very poor/poor, occasionally moderate/good. Temperatures: -0.3° to +5.4°C. Wind: very light throughout; N/NNE until 9.00am; then NNW/WNW and NW thereafter. Surface pressure at 0000UTC: 1024hPa and falling slowly to 1022hPa by 4.00pm then rising very slowly to end the day on 1023hPa. Fronts etc.: a NW/E weakening warm front moved S over the District during the early afternoon and was followed by a similar cold front during the late afternoon/early evening.
