DEARNE VALLEY – Adwick Washlands (SE4602) – 2 GARGANEY, 2 Little Egret, 36 Black-tailed Godwit, 1 Dunlin, 2 LRP, 2 Ringed Plover, 2 Oystercatcher, 4 WHEATEAR, 1 Little Owl, 2 Yellow Wagtail (Ken Foundation, Colin and Linda Graham per Twitter)

DEARNE VALLEY – Bolton Ings (SE4302) –  1 Mute Swan, 10 Greylag, 1 Canada Goose, 9 Pochard, 8 Gadwall, 7 Tufted Duck, 6 Mallard, 1 Teal, 3 Great Crested Grebe, 3 Little Grebe, 49+3y Coot and 320+ BH Gull. 2 Whitethroat, 1 CETTI’S WARBLER and 1 Sedge Warbler were singing near the hide. Also present were 1 Kestrel and 1 LBB Gull (Alan Whitehouse per today’s BARNSLEY BIRD SIGHTINGS)

DEARNE VALLEY – Broomhill Flash (SE4102) – 2 Mute Swan, 12 Canada Geese, 2 Shelduck, 3 Greylag, 15 Tufted Duck, 7 Gadwall, 6 Pochard, 5 Mallard, 4 Teal, 1 Wigeon, 2 Great Crested Grebe, 6 Little Grebe, 1 Red Legged Partridge, 1 Cormorant, 1 Grey Heron, 18 Coot, 4 Moorhen, 9 Lapwing, 1 Dunlin, 5 Herring Gull, 2 LBB Gull and 35 Swallow (Alan Whitehouse per today’s BARNSLEY BIRD SIGHTINGS) .

DEARNE VALLEY – TPT (Old Moor-Bolton Ings) – 16s Willow Warbler, 11s Chiffchaff, 6s Blackcap and 1s Mistle Thrush. Also a Kingfisher was on the Dearne near Wombwell Ings (Alan Whitehouse per today’s BARNSLEY BIRD SIGHTINGS and Tina Langford)

DEARNE VALLEY – Old Moor (SE4302) – 1 BITTERN, 1 Little Egret, 1 Buzzard, 2 GC Grebe, 1 Water Rail, 3 AVOCET, 2 Oystercatcher, 1 LRP, 1 Common Sandpiper, 1 COMMIC (probably ARCTIC) TERN (Barnsley BSG per Twitter, Tina Langford and today’s RSPB DEARNE VALLEY-RECENT SIGHTINGS)

DEARNE VALLEY – Wombwell Ings (SE4102) – 27 Greylag, 22 Canada Geese, 3 Shelduck, 34 Gadwall, 12 Wigeon, 7 Mallard, 7 Tufted Duck, 3 Shoveler, 1 Cormorant, 8 Coot, 2 Moorhen, 4 Lapwing, 4 AVOCET, 4 Redshank, 3 LRP, 2 Ringed Plover, 2 Common Sandpiper, 17 BH Gull, 6+ Skylark, 4 Rook, 2 Mistle Thrush, 2 WHEATEAR, 2 Pied Wagtail and 5 Linnet.
