IPORT LAKES AND PARSONS CARR (Daw Lane) – 2 Egyptian Geese, 2 Shelduck, 1m GARGANEY, a new bird for the site (KR); 1m Shoveler, 2 Little Egret, 1 Grey Heron, c.10 Buzzard in surrounding area; 6 Oystercatcher, 5a+4j+3j AVOCET, 6+ Ringed Plover (4 tundrae dropped in, but waders all flushed by some kids and at least 2 more RP were in flock of c.15 birds which all left NE); 6+ Dunlin, 6 COMMON TERN, c.30 Swift, 1 HOBBY, 2 RAVEN (1E+1 distant to SW a few mins later); 2 WHEATEAR (Richard Scott, Keith Rich, Bob usher and Chris Robinson)

POTTERIC CARR (SE5999, SE6099, SE5900 and SE6000) – 1 Little Egret, 1f MARSH HARRIER c/n-m, 4 Buzzard, 1c 1 Water Rail, 1 Oystercatcher, 2 Lapwing o/n; 2 Lesser Black-backed Gull, 3 Herring Gull; 15 Swift over; Great Tit young have fledged the first of the season; 2 Coal Tit, 4 Greenfinch, 1p Bullfinch, 4s Reed Bunting (Sue and Roger Bird, Robin Mokryj, visitor reports).
