DEARNE VALLEY – Bolton Ings (SE4302) – On the open water were 9+5j Mute Swan, 20 Greylag, 1 Canada Goose, 17 Tufted Duck, 6m+1f Pochard, 5 Gadwall, 2 Mallard, 3 Great Crested Grebe, 3+2j Little Grebe, 1 Cormorant, 69+4j Coot and 2 LBB Gull. Also present were 1 BITTERN (flew in at 12.30pm), 3 Buzzard, 1 Kestrel and 2 Oystercatcher over west, 1 Grey Wagtail (Alan Whitehouse per today’s BARNSLEY BIRD SIGHTINGS and John Seevior per Twitter)
