DEARNE VALLEY – Bolton Ings (SE4302) – 25+5j Mute Swan, 28 Greylag, 1 Canada Goose, 23 Gadwall, 11m+3f+2j Pochard, 12 Tufted Duck, 5 Mallard. 1 Little Egret, 5+1j Great Crested Grebe, 3 Little Grebe, 6 Cormorant, 67+7j Coot, 2 Oystercatcher, and 2 LBB Gull. DEARNE VALLEY – TPT – Bolton Ings to Wombwell Ings – 7 Willow Warbler, 6 Blackcap, 5 Chiffchaff, 3 Whitethroat, 1 Garden Warbler, 1 Sedge Warbler and 2 Song Thrush (Alan Whitehouse per today’s BARNSLEY BIRD SIGHTINGS and John Seevior per Twitter)

DEARNE VALLEY – Old Moor – Details of a colour-ringed Redshank at Wath Ings as follows: RL Black/Orange juvenile 26-09-08 Levington Creek, Orwell Estuary (Suffolk). LL Yellow/ Blue/ seen 23-11-11 Levington Creek. BTO metal seen 01-06-19 (Wath Ings) Old Moor. Eleven years old – a decent age (Martin Wells)

DEARNE VALLEY – Wombwell Ing – Highlight was the SPOONBILL first seen by Keith Fisher before 5am and still present when I left at 11am. Also present were 10 Mute Swan, 19 Canada Geese, 2 Shelduck, 31 Gadwall, 21 Mallard, 3 Shoveler, 2 male Teal, 3 Grey Heron, 1 Little Egret, 1 Cormorant, 7+1J Lapwing, 4 Ringed Plover, 4 Little Ringed Plover, 2 Oystercatcher, 1 Avocet, 1 Redshank, 41 BH Gull, 1 LBB Gull, 5+ Skylark, 3 Pied Wagtail. 1 Yellow Wagtail, 3 Linnet and 1 Reed Bunting (Alan Whitehouse per today’s BARNSLEY BIRD SIGHTINGS)
