DEARNE VALLEY – Bolton Ings (SE4302) – 18+4j Mute Swan, 1 Mallard, 29 Gadwall, 3 Pochard, 9+2j Little Grebe, 3+2j Great Crested Grebe, 1 BITTERN, 1 Little Egret, 4 Cormorant, 176+7j Coot, 12 BH Gull, 1 LBB Gull, 1 LBB Gull, 1 Herring Gull and 3 COMMON TERN. Also noticed were 3 Chiffchaff, 1f Blackcap and 2 Linnet (Alan Whitehouse per today’s BARNSLEY BIRD SIGHTINGS and John Seevior per Twitter)

DEARNE VALLEY – Broomhill Flash (SE4102) – 2+3j Mute Swan, c70 Greylag, 13 Canada Geese, 15+14j Tufted Duck, 13 Mallard, 9+16j Gadwall, 11 Little Grebe, 1 Little Egret, 2 Cormorant, 1 Buzzard, 1 Kestrel, 83 Coot, 9 Lapwing, c10 Snipe, 1 Oystercatcher, 1 Common Sandpiper and 2+3j LBB Gull. Peter Kent also had 2 Peregrine, 1 HOBBY, 1 Sparrowhawk, 1 Barn Owl, 1 Dunlin and 1 Redshank (Alan Whitehouse per today’s BARNSLEY BIRD SIGHTINGS)

DEARNE VALLEY – Old Moor (SE4302) – 1a BLACK-NECKED GREBE, 1 BITTERN, 3 Little Egret, 80 Teal, 11 Shelduck, 7 Black-tailed Godwit, 1 Redshank, 6 Oystercatcher, 190 Lapwing, 2 Dunlin, 3 Common Sandpiper, 4 Green Sandpiper, 2 PEREGRINE, 1 HOBBY, 1 MARSH HARRIER, 1 BARN OWL, 4 COMMON TERN, 1 Yellow-legged Gull, 3 Yellow Wagtail (Gerald Lax, Barnsley BSG and Steve Gregory per Twitter)

DEARNE VALLEY – The Fleet – 25 Canada Geese, 1 Little Egret, 4 Grey Heron, 16 Lapwing, 1 Ringed Plover, 68 BH Gull, 3 LBB Gull and 2 Herring Gull. P. Kent also had 5+3j Little Ringed Plover and 1 Oystercatcher (Alan Whitehouse per today’s BARNSLEY BIRD SIGHTINGS)

DEARNE VALLEY – Wombwell Ings – 9 Mute Swan, 2 Canada Geese, 24 Mallard, 3 Gadwall, 1 Cormorant, 1 Grey Heron, 1 Kestrel, 35 Lapwing, 1 Ringed Plover, 1 Little Ringed Plover, 1 Green Sandpiper, 1 WHIMBREL left W,81 BH Gull, 3 Skylark, 4 Pied Wagtail, 6 Linnet and 1 Reed Bunting. IPORT LAKES – 6nj Mallard, 3vyj+1nj Tufted Duck, 4 Grey Heron, 2 Little Egret, 3 (1j) Oystercatcher, c.30 Lapwing, 6+ Ringed Plover, 1 Dunlin, 1 Redshank, 1 WHIMBREL SW, 20+ COMMON TERN, 1 Yellow Wagtail, 2s Yellowhammer (Chris Robinson). Added to Birdtrack.
