POTTERIC CARR – 1 Wigeon, 1 GARGANEY, 1m 1 MARSH HARRIER3 (f+2j) Sparrowhawk, 1 Water Rail, 1+ Curlew – heard over Piper Marsh shortly after 2 were reported flying east at the iPort, 4 Green Sandpiper7 Snipe, 4 (2j) COMMON TERN2 Kingfisher3 Great Spotted Woodpecker, 5 Jay, 1c BEARDED TIT3 Willow Warbler, 4 Blackcap, 1 Garden Warbler1 Lesser Whitethroat3 Whitethroat, 1 PIED FLYCATCHER – in Black Carr Field at 8am (RJS). Presumably not the same bird as yesterday; 1a+3j Song Thrush, 100+ mixed warblers and tits worked their way along Big Hedge between West Scrape and Mitchell Hide before heading south through the willow scrub in Central Grassland (Richard Scott, Allen Holmes, Dave Carroll, Sue and Roger Bird, Jenny Kingsland, Sue Cullen, Sue Richardson)
