IPORT LAKES – 12+ Cormorant, 3 Grey Heron, 6 Little Egret, 2 GREAT EGRET flushed by dog-walkers shortly after arrival – a new bird for the site (CCR); 1 Ringed Plover, 1 Green Sandpiper, 1 Common Sandpiper, 7+ Snipe, 5+ Chiffchaff, 2+ Blackcap, 3 Whitethroat, 13 Meadow Pipit SW, 5 Yellow Wagtail, 4 Pied Wagtail, 2 Grey Wagtail (Chris Robinson and Greg Gilmour). POTTERIC CARR – 20 Pink-footed Geese, 18 Wigeon, 1 BITTERN, 5 Little Egret, 2+ GREAT EGRET (2 flew from iPort towards Potteric and shortly after one flew over Lakeside towards Potteric); 11 Grey Heron, 1 HOBBY, 1j Water Rail, 2 Green Sandpiper, 1 Kingfisher, 1 Great Spotted Woodpecker, 4+ BEARDED TIT (Neil Sainthouse, Richard Scott, Gary Dyson, Chris Robinson, Darren Wozencroft).
